When the sun shines, 2 types of UV rays reach the surface of our skin:
UVB:
- represent 5% of the UV spectrum
- are responsible for visible effects such as tanning or burning.
UVA:
- represent 95% of the UV spectrum
- penetrate deep into the layers of the skin
- are responsible for invisible effects such as oxidative stress and reduction of the skin's immune defenses, leading to visible effects such as skin aging and skin cancer.
To avoid these effects and instead of overloading the skin with filters, BIODERMA created SUN ACTIVE DEFENSE, a high-tech defense reinforced against UVA rays. Tips for use
Apply several times a day when exposed to the sun. Can be used alone or as a make-up base. Also available tinted: light or golden color.
- STEP 1 Apply evenly and liberally to the face and neck before sun exposure (as the amount of product decreases, the level of protection decreases). For daily use.
- STEP 2 Reapply after sweating, swimming or towel drying to maintain protection.
Avoid contact with fabrics. For adults. Apply to healthy skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Overexposure to the sun can be dangerous to your health, even if you wear sunscreen
