What is glutathione?

A tripeptide consisting of the three amino acids glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. It is produced by the liver and nerve cells in the central nervous system.

Glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant necessary for the effective neutralization of free radicals - unstable molecules formed in response to adverse factors such as an unhealthy diet, living in a polluted environment, etc.
