I. WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT JOINTS?
The joints are involved in all body movements and support its weight throughout our life. They are built in such a way that for many years they do not wear out or get damaged, although they are subjected to loads that no machine can withstand without repair. The ends of the bones in a healthy joint covered with smooth cartilage are enveloped and enveloped like a muff by the joint capsule, and the space between them is filled with synovial fluid. The joint is further strengthened by tendons that surround the joint capsule and connect the bones.
However, sometimes the joints are damaged. Most often this happens with advancing age, but it can also appear in younger people, especially after past traumas or inflammatory processes. Joint disorders include over 100 diseases affecting joint structures - articular cartilage, joint capsule, synovial fluid, joint ligaments, tendons, surrounding joint tissues and underlying bone.
The most common symptoms of joint damage are pain, limitations in joint mobility (from stiffness to complete inability to move), swelling of one or more of the affected joints, warmth in the affected joint, or redness of the overlying skin. Symptoms can develop gradually or suddenly. Reasons for their appearance are degenerative changes associated with advancing age, excess weight, inflammatory processes, injuries, stagnant lifestyle, joint overload, etc.
For a long-term effect on the symptoms of joint damage, agents are used that relieve pain, remove stiffness and supply building material for the restoration of joint structures. Thus, the progression of damage stops and the life of the joints is extended, and a person can move as before and return to their normal rhythm of life.
II. WHAT IS MOVAGEN?
MOVAGEN is a preparation containing 3 clinically proven complexes that support the health and normal mobility of the joints. Provides substances of key importance for the physiological restoration of the properties, structure and stability of joint structures - joint cartilage, joint capsule, synovial fluid, joint ligaments, tendons, surrounding joint tissues and underlying bone.
Each MOVAGEN tablet contains:
Pain Relief Complex®* - 325 mg, consisting of a standardized extract of Cissus quadrangularis - 300 mg and a standardized extract of Boswellia serrata - 25 mg.
Anti Stiff Complex®* - 77.5 mg, consisting of the unsaponifiable fraction of avocado and soybean oils (ASU) - 75 mg and undenatured collagen type II - 2.5 mg.
Joint Restore Complex®* - 389 mg, consisting of glucosamine sulfate - 375 mg, hyaluronic acid - 125 mg and boron - 15 mg.
MOVAGEN is a dietary supplement.
Pain Relief Complex® is a complex containing standardized extracts of Cissus quadrangularis and Boswellia serrata with a proven supporting effect on joint health and a normal feeling of comfort during movement.
- The standardized extract of Boswellia serrata contains a complex of boswellic acids that interact with a number of enzymes involved in processes of key importance for joint health.
- The standardized extract of Cissus quadrangularis contains high concentration of ketosterones, which have a direct effect on the feeling of health and comfort in the joints.
Anti Stiff Complex® contains substances of key importance for the physiological restoration of normal joint mobility. It consists of the unsaponifiable fraction of avocado and soybean oils (ASU) and undenatured type II collagen.
- The unsaponifiable fraction of avocado and soybean oils (ASU) is recommended for intake by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR). The action of ASU has been established through in vitro and in vivo studies showing its beneficial properties in terms of joint mobility.
- Non-denatured Type II collagen has been the subject of numerous studies showing its effect on the physiological maintenance of normal joint mobility. It is no coincidence that Type II collagen used in M0VAGEN is non-denatured, because this is its natural form in the human body and only in this form it retains its biological activity and can perform its physiological functions.
Joint Restore Complex® is a complex containing glucosamine sulfate, hyaluronic acid and boron, which are important building blocks for joint structures. There are numerous clinical studies that prove their positive effect on the physiological restoration of the structure, elasticity and properties of joints, synovial fluid, joint cartilage, joint ligaments, tendons and surrounding joint tissues.
- Glucosamine sulfate is an essential structural component of articular cartilage, ligaments and tendons, and is necessary for their proper structure and function. It provides the body with two key cartilage subunits: glucosamine and sulfate groups. Glucosamine is contained in the fluid around the joints and is an important element of the composition of the molecules that make up cartilage, synovial fluid, intervertebral discs, etc. Sulfate groups are other non-replaceable elements necessary for the construction of cartilage tissue. They increase the osmotic pressure in the cartilage and contribute to its turgor, tensile strength, compressive strength and volume.
- Hyaluronic acid is a molecule with important biological functions. It is contained in the connective tissue and is highly concentrated in the synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid gives the synovial fluid its specific properties, thanks to which it acts as a lubricant and buffer. Also, it covers the inner surface of the joint and thus acts as an elastic protective layer in relation to the articular cartilage and capsule, protecting them from mechanical damage. At the same time, it is also a building structural unit of the articular cartilage.
- Boron is a trace element that participates in the metabolism of calcium and magnesium in the body, and is of key importance for maintaining physiological bone growth and density.
