The Haschberg variety is a rich food source of plant pigments and phenolic compounds, such as flavonols, quercetin-3-glucoside, quercetin-3-rutinoside, anthocyanins (a group of phenolic compounds responsible for the deep red, purple and violet colors of some plants) and more. Haschberg is a natural source of flavonoids – some of the most powerful medicinal compounds in elderberry. Sambucus 200 mg x 30 tablets contains a standardized, flavonoid-rich BioActives extract, distinguished by an excellent degree of absorption and high efficacy against the symptoms of the common cold and flu. Research shows that elderberry fruit extract is beneficial for metabolism and aids in the elimination of toxins from the body.
