Together with the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, it protects the retina from the effects of excessively intense light. When we spend a long time in front of a monitor – a TV , a computer or in the evening, in a darkened room – in front of our smartphone screen , we expose our eyes to a continuous stream of strong light. A similar thing is observed during a long stay outdoors during the warm months of the year, when the sun shines intensely for most of the day. The cells in the retina, which receive the image of what we see, are extremely light-sensitive, even a single photon of light is able to activate them! Excessive irritation leads to their exhaustion and acceleration of age-related changes in the eyes. Blueberry concentrate (26%); filler: vegetable oil; glazing agent: gelatin; ascorbic acid (vitamin C); lutein suspension (5%); stabilizer: coconut oil; humectants: glycerol and sorbitol; anti-caking agent: wax; zinc sulfate; emulsifier: lecithin (derived from sunflower); D-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E); stabilizer: palm oil; colorant: iron oxides; retinyl palmitate (vitamin A).

RECOMMENDED ADMINISTRATION

Take 1 capsule daily during meals, with sufficient liquid. Do not chew.
