1. Neurotidine keeps the membranes of neurons intact through the biosynthesis of structural phospholipids. Cognizin is a patented trademark of KYOWA HAKKO BIO CO LTD.

Indications: Neurotidine, which contains Citicoline, is suitable for additional intake in patients with pharmacologically stabilized glaucoma and with progressive loss of visual field. Neurotidine is also suitable for the following conditions: reduced attention and poor memory; cerebrovascular diseases; neurodegenerative problems; traumatic brain injury; ischemic optic neuropathy; vertigo of central origin with vascular etiology; depression.
Mechanism of action: Neurotidine, which contains Citicoline, stimulates the biosynthesis of phospholipids in the membrane of nerves, including the optic nerve. The structural effect improves the function of essential mechanisms of proper neurotransmission. Citicoline also supports neuronal energy needs, inhibits apoptosis and dopamine synthesis. These neurotransmitters are involved and conduct visual stimulation at the retinal and post-retinal level. (central nervous system).
