What is Visicode Eyes?
Visikod Eyes is a dietary supplement in the form of a soluble powder for preparing a drink with a pleasant fruity flavor.
The main active ingredient is the special Lutemax®2020 complex - a balanced combination of lutein and increased levels of zeaxanthin. These are the so-called macular carotenoids, which are deposited in the macula - a small area of the retina of the eye, responsible for visual acuity and good vision in detail. The macula is both the most significant for visual efficiency, but also the most susceptible to damage due to photooxidative stress.
The human body cannot synthesize lutein and zeaxanthin, so they must be obtained through appropriate food sources. It is important that the diet provides both carotenoids, as their action complements each other. Lutein is deposited mainly in the periphery of the macula, and zeaxanthin - in its center, thus providing reliable and complete protection of vision against the harmful effects of the environment. It has been categorically established that the so-called macular carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin are strong antioxidants that protect vision from the photooxidative effects of UV radiation and high-energy blue light.
Regular intake of lutein and zeaxanthin is of utmost importance for maintaining eye health from the effects of sunlight, artificial lighting, and blue light emitted from television screens, computer monitors, and mobile digital device displays.
Lutemax®2020 contains premium lutein and two isomers of zeaxanthin, extracted from the Tagetes erecta plant, popularly known as marigold or African marigold. The active ingredients are combined in the exact ratio found in natural food sources, and innovative technologies ensure their stability until fully absorbed by the body.
Vit. A – plays an important role in maintaining normal vision, especially for adaptation from light to dark and proper eye lubrication.
Vitamin E – a strong antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and protects against oxidative stress.
Vit. C – is important for the strength of connective tissue, stimulates collagen synthesis in the cornea and vitreous body of the eye, supports the antioxidant activity of Vit. E.
Bilberry extract – a traditional natural remedy for supporting vision. The abundance of bioflavonoids and anthocyanidins supports the strength of the fine capillaries in the back of the eyes and the regenerative abilities of the retina. It has a beneficial effect on visual acuity and reduces fatigue. The combination with lutein and zeaxanthin strongly counteracts the effects of prolonged exposure to intense light (sunlight, strong artificial lighting, TV, computer and phone screens).
