Melatonin is a natural hormone found in the human body. Its main function is to ensure full sleep by regulating the rhythm of sleep and alertness. With increasing age, the level of melatonin in the blood decreases, which is why older people very often have sleep disorders. Melatonin is also closely related to the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which is why in times of increased stress people also have trouble sleeping.
Melatonin Liquid provides the necessary amount of pure, fast-acting melatonin, which ensures the desired full sleep and rest.
When taken as a dietary supplement, melatonin is absorbed in the small intestine and inactivated in the liver. Food intake and the condition of the intestinal lining can interfere with the absorption of melatonin. The time required for absorption and action of melatonin taken in the form of tablets is a minimum of 60 minutes.
Melatonin Liquid is in liquid form, taken under the tongue and therefore has approximately 50% more lasting and faster effect compared to the tablet form. The effect of action is about 30 minutes after taking it under the tongue.
Melatonin Liquid is easy to dose, thanks to the dispenser included in the package; it is absorbed quickly, does not irritate the stomach and has a pleasant taste.
It is suitable for the elderly and children /after consultation with a doctor/. It can be used in situations of stress, time difference and shift work (day and night).
Composition:
Maximum daily dose: 0.5 ml.
Content of pure melatonin in the maximum daily dose: 1.95 mg.
Other ingredients: flavor - lemon, sweetener - fructose, preservatives - potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, thickener - xanthan gum.
1 package of Melatonin Liquid contains 100 doses of complete sleep.
Admission
Remove the plastic cap, measure the desired dose with the dispenser, hold the liquid under the tongue as long as possible, then slowly swallow:
Recommended dose for daily intake:
Adults: 0.5 ml (equivalent to 1.95 mg melatonin) 30 min before bedtime;
Children older than 6 months (under the supervision of a specialist): from 0.25 ml to 0.5 ml.
Note:
The use of Melatonin Liquid in children is recommended by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Primary Outpatient Medical Care.
It is recommended to take Melatonin Liquid at the same time of the day.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, higher doses of Melatonin Liquid should only be taken after consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
At the recommended dose, they have not been observed, except in case of allergy (hypersensitivity) to any of the ingredients.
Drug interactions:
In therapeutic doses, Melatonin Liquid may slightly lower blood pressure and increase the sedative properties of other products.
