HERBAMEDICA COXAMIN K for osteoporosis x 60 tabl
COXAMIN K (K2) - the transporter!
Vitamin K ensures the transport of calcium to the bones.
Vitamin K ensures the transport of calcium to the bones.
Osteocalcin – the protein indicating the status of vitamin K. In its active form, it stimulates bone formation and density. With insufficient intake of vitamin K, osteocalcin remains in its inactive form (non-carboxylated osteocalcin) – low bone mineral density and risk of fractures.
MGP ( matrix Gla-protein) – the protein responsible for bone health. It is found in the walls of blood vessels and is responsible for removing calcium from arteries and soft tissues, preventing them from calcifying (hardening). Vitamin K2 is required for the activation of this protein.
Coxamin K contains in its composition vitamin D 3 , important for the absorption of minerals, calcium and phosphorus - a synergistic interaction between the three elements
The Coxamin K formula completes the physiological cycle of intake, delivery and absorption of calcium and other minerals to the bones.
Vitamin K2 in Coxamin K is in the form of menaquinone-7 (MK7) – higher bioactivity and bioavailability than vitamin K1 or menaquinone-4
Fat-soluble MK7 is natural, obtained by fermentation of B. s ubtillis natto without any synthetic treatments
Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium in the gastrointestinal tract and reduces the loss of calcium through the kidneys
