Zincorot 25 mg tablets is a zinc supplement. For the treatment of zinc deficiency conditions in the event that they cannot be cured with the usual diet. Zinc plays important roles in immune function, skin integrity, wound healing, taste and smell, thyroid function, growth and development, testicular maturation, neurological function, and insulin action (insulin is a hormone that regulates energy and glucose metabolism). Zinc is necessary for normal brain development and physiology. Its deficiency or excess in the body leads to changes in behavior, abnormal development of the central nervous system and neurological disease.

The recommended dose is 12.5 - 25 mg zinc (= ½ - 1 tablet Zincorot 25 mg) daily.
ZINKOROT / ZINKOROT tablets composition:
The active substance is zinc orotate dihydrate. One tablet contains 157.36 mg zinc orotate dihydrate (equivalent to 25 mg zinc). The other ingredients are silicon dioxide, colloidal anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K 30, croscarmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate.
