INOFOLIC COMBI x 30 caps
Inofolic Combi is a nutritional supplement that has a beneficial effect on the increased need for myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol and folic acid in overweight women. Inofolic Kombi contains myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol and folic acid, and the product provides the necessary amount of them, since it is not always enough to get them through food. The nutritional supplement is useful and has a beneficial effect in the following conditions - polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); states of insulin resistance and prediabetic states; type II diabetes; as an adjunct to controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols.
Composition in 1 capsule:
Myo-inositol - 1100 mg;
D-chiro-inositol - 27.6 mg;
Folic acid - 400 mcg.
Folic acid (Vitamin B9) is a water-soluble vitamin that is extremely important for our good health.
FOLIC ACID IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- DNA and RNA synthesis;
- Preserving the integrity of the cells;
-The normal formation of red blood cells, protecting the body from the development of anemia;
-The normal state of the nervous system;
-Full absorption of proteins and reduces the levels of stress hormones.
Folic acid plays a key role in the absorption of the other B vitamins, especially vitamin B12. The human body has a constant need for folic acid, but it does not have the ability to produce it on its own, nor to store it for a long time.
FOLIC ACID DEFICIENCY
Folic acid deficiency is quite common, especially in pregnant women , nursing mothers and the elderly. Deficiency of this vitamin can cause cell division disorders, most prominently in rapidly regenerating tissues.
CAUSES OF FOLIC ACID DEFICIENCY MAY BE:
- Taking some medications;
-Alcohol abuse;
-Presence of diseases in which the body's absorptive functions are impaired.
THE SYMPTOMS OF FOLIC ACID DEFICIENCY:
- Fatigue and irritability;
-Retarded thought;
-Gum problems,
-Presence of diarrhea and others.
WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ABSORPTION OF FOLIC ACID BY THE BODY
FOLIC ACID PERFORMS ITS FUNCTIONS IN THE BODY ONLY AFTER IT IS CONVERTED INTO L-METHYLFOLATE (IT'S ACTIVE FORM)
When talking about folic acid intake, it is very important to note that the very conversion of this vitamin into L-methylfolate is a complex and multi-step process, in which some pregnant women (about 12%) cannot be carried out due to the presence of a genetic enzyme defect. Before the process of turning folic acid into L-methylfolate is completed, it is inactive and has no biological effect, as a result of which, in people with a genetic defect, it is excreted from the body unused.
