Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) 1000mcg sublingual tablets

Vitamin B12 is vital for the nervous system and is one of the key elements for the formation of healthy red blood cells. B12, as well as folic acid as a donor of methyl groups, help keep homocysteine levels within safe limits. In order for B12 to be used by the body, it must first be converted to methylcobalamin by the enzyme MTRR. In many people, this internal conversion process is deficient for various reasons, such as genetic abnormalities related to the MTRR enzyme and in cases of pernicious anemia and diabetes. Studies show that B12 in the form of methylcobalamin acts directly on absorption. In addition, B12 as a sublingual tablet is most easily absorbed through the oral mucosa.
