Maca is a Peruvian plant that grows in the central Andes at a high altitude of up to 4000m. Maca root has been used by local tribes for thousands of years as a food and a means of maintaining the body's strength and endurance. It is rich in fiber, calcium and potassium. It is considered a natural aphrodisiac and improves libido. It increases energy, which is why it is a preferred supplement to the regime of athletes and people with an active daily life.

Method of use:

The recommended daily dose is 1 tbsp. per day. If you are taking maca for the first time, start with 1 tsp. per day and gradually increase the amount. Add to smoothies, shakes, muesli or use to make ice creams, creams and energy bars.
