Purpose
HiPP 2 Combiotic® is suitable to meet only the specific nutritional needs of infants under 6 months. It can be offered:
• after breastfeeding or after any other infant milk.
• just like breast milk in the amounts and frequency that your baby desires.
Preparation instructions
Please follow the instructions for preparing HiPP 2 Combiotic® carefully. Failure to follow them, or storing a prepared bottle for a long period of time, can be dangerous to health, as a result of unwanted bacterial growth in the milk. For this reason, always prepare the food from scratch before each feeding and serve it immediately. Do not use any leftover milk. Wash the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Close the opened package tightly after each use, store in a dry place at room temperature (up to 25°C) and use within 3 weeks. Please do not reheat the food in a microwave oven (risk of burns).
1. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to 40-50°C*.
2. Pour the required amount of prepared water (see nutrition plan) into the feeding bottle.
3. Pour the required amount of milk powder into the bottle (see the feeding plan), filling the measuring spoon and leveling it to remove the excess.
4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously.
5. Cool to a drinking temperature (about 37°C). Check the temperature.
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid culture (lactobacilli), please do not prepare with very hot water.
Nutrition plan
The amount to be consumed for each meal may vary from child to child. The recommended amounts to be consumed and the number of meals per day are approximate. It is not necessary for your child to finish the entire prepared amount. Please use only the measuring spoon provided!

Babies need about 5 meals a day. With each new food introduced (puree, porridge or jarred food), one milk meal should be eliminated.

Exclusive breastfeeding is best for your baby during the first 6 months. Like any other follow-on formula, our HiPP 2 ORGANIC COMBIOTIC® is intended to be used as part of a varied diet for infants after six months, and not as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months. The decision to introduce complementary foods to children under six months should be made on the basis of a recommendation from your pediatrician, made after taking into account the individual needs and weight gain of your child. Like breast milk, infant formula and follow-on formula contain carbohydrates. They are an important part of your child's diet. Frequent or prolonged contact of carbohydrate-containing foods with your baby's teeth can lead to severe tooth decay. For this reason, do not allow your child to suckle from a bottle for extended periods of time and introduce him to drinking from a cup as early as possible.
