RUPALYN 200mg x 10 tab
Rupalin contains ibuprofen as ibuprofen lysinate. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs provide relief by changing the body's response to pain, swelling, and fever.
Rupalin 200 mg film-coated tablets are used in adults and adolescents with a body weight of 40 kg and more (over 12 years of age).
Rupalin is indicated for the symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain and muscle pain.
It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of fever.
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medicine orally, preferably after a meal, with a glass of water.
The lowest effective dose should be taken for the shortest possible time needed to control symptoms. If you have an infection, see a doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen (see point 2).
The recommended dose is:
Use in adults and adolescents with a body weight of 40 kg and more (over 12 years of age)
The starting dose is 1 to 2 tablets (200 mg to 400 mg), repeated every 6 hours if necessary.
Do not exceed 6 tablets (1200 mg) in any 24 hours.
Do not use higher than recommended doses or for more than 3 days with a fever, unless prescribed by a doctor.
Do not use for more than 5 days for pain unless directed by a doctor, as severe and prolonged pain may require medical evaluation and treatment.

What Rupalin contains
- The active substance is ibuprofen. Each film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 342 mg ibuprofen lysine).
- The other ingredients are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose PH102, crospovidone (type A), copovidone (Plasdone S-630), purified talc, magnesium stearate. Coating: Opadray II white 85F18422 (polyvinyl alcohol, partially hydrolyzed, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, purified talc), red iron oxide (E-172).
