GripVis throat spray does not contain preservatives. A sterile filter guarantees the sterility of the solution even after repeated use.
What does GripVis throat spray contain?
GripVis Throat Spray is a clear, colorless viscous solution with a cherry flavor.
1 ml of solution contains 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®), sodium chloride, xylitol, cherry aroma, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), disodium hydrogen phosphate, citric acid and purified water.
What are the properties of GripVis throat spray?
The mucous membrane of the mouth and nose are the main routes of infection with the viruses they cause
cold and flu-like illnesses. Once in the mouth, viruses can attach to the mucosa where they begin to multiply and spread. Carragelose® non-specifically envelops the cold viruses and prevents them from attaching to the mucous membrane, reducing the reproduction and spread of the viruses. In this way, GripVis throat spray forms a protective barrier against cold viruses.
Carragelose®, contained in GripVis throat spray, stabilizes the physiological moisturizing coating of the throat mucosa and thus provides long-lasting moisturizing. This physiological moisturizing coating acts as a mechanical barrier against external influences and supports the body's natural defenses.
What is GripVis Throat Spray used for?
- To prevent and support the treatment of viral infections of the upper respiratory tract.
- To moisten the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat in case of cough, hoarse voice or dry air.
- To prevent and support the treatment of all complaints resulting from dry and/or irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat,
caused for example by smoking, prolonged talking or singing.
Dosage and method of administration
How and how often to use GripVis Throat Spray?
Before the first application, press the pump several times, if necessary, until a uniform mist appears. Hold the vial upright while injecting so that the suction tube reaches the solution. To avoid injury, carefully insert the spray tip into the mouth, but not too far in.
- Apply one or several sprays in the mouth several times a day according to individual needs.
- GripVis Throat Spray can be used for an extended period of time if necessary, as there is no risk of overdose.

Expiry date
