RUPALYN 400mg x 10 tabl
Rupaline contains ibuprofen as ibuprofen lysinate. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines provide relief by changing the body's response to pain, swelling and fever.
Rupalin 400 mg film-coated tablets are used in adults.
Rupalin is intended for the symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, migraine, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle pain, rheumatic pain, back pain, neuralgia and for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu.
It is also used for symptomatic treatment of fever.
How to take Rupalin
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medicine orally, preferably after a meal, with a glass of water.
The lowest effective dose should be taken for the shortest possible time to control symptoms. If you have an infection, consult a doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen (see section 2).
The recommended dose is:
Use in adults
The initial dose is 1 tablet (400 mg), repeated every 6 hours if necessary.
Do not exceed 3 tablets (1200 mg) in any 24 hours.
Use in children and adolescents
Rupaline 400 mg is not intended for children and adolescents.
In adolescents with a body weight of over 40 kg (over 12 years of age), Rupalin 200 mg film-coated tablets are recommended.
Do not use higher than recommended doses or for more than 3 days for fever or migraine unless prescribed by a doctor.
Do not use for more than 5 days for pain unless directed by a doctor, as severe and prolonged pain may require medical evaluation and treatment.
Use in patients with kidney or liver problems
Consult your doctor before taking Rupalin.
If you take more Rupaline than you should
If you have taken more Rupalin than you should or if a child has accidentally taken the medicine, contact a doctor or the nearest hospital in any such case to get a risk assessment and advice on what action to take.
Symptoms may include nausea, stomach pain, vomiting (may contain traces of blood), headache, ringing in the ears, confusion and rapid eye movement. At high doses, drowsiness, chest pain, loss of consciousness, seizures (mainly in children), weakness and dizziness, blood in the urine, feeling cold and breathing problems have been reported.
If you forget to take Rupalin
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

What Rupalin contains
- The active substance is ibuprofen. Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 684 mg ibuprofen lysine).
- The other ingredients are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose PH102, crospovidone (type A), copovidone (Plasdone S-630), purified talc, magnesium stearate. Film-coating: opadry II white 85F18422 (polyvinyl alcohol, partially hydrolyzed, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, purified talc).
