Angal Limon is a medicine with a local effect in the oral cavity and pharynx. It has an antiseptic effect and a local anesthetic effect. Angal Lemon is recommended for:
- Treatment of the symptoms of a red, inflamed throat, diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity, accompanied by irritations such as inflammation of the gums, oral mucosa and aphthae. In cases of bacterial infection accompanied by high fever, additional treatment is required.
- Angal Lemon does not contain sugar, which makes it suitable for diabetics.
Do not use Angal Lemon:
If you are allergic to chlorhexidine hydrochloride or lidocaine hydrochloride, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6). In children under 6 years of age.
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Angal Lemon.
Angal Lemon should not be used for long periods of time with or without interruption.
Use should be limited to the necessary relief of pain and irritation;
In case of overdose (more than 20 lozenges per day) there is a small risk of reducing the control of the swallowing reflex;
If you are taking other medicines, please consult your doctor or pharmacist if any of the warnings listed apply or have applied to you, even in the past.
Children: Do not use this medicine in children under 6 years of age. Other medicines and Angal Lemon
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. If the listed precautions and warnings are observed, Angal Lemon can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell your doctor that you are taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines:
No special precautions are necessary.
Angal Lemon contains sorbitol and aspartame:
- Angal Lemon contains sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some types of sugar, contact your doctor before using this medicine. Sorbitol may have a mild laxative effect. The energy value of sorbitol is 2.6 kcal/g.
- Angal Lemon contains aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine. It may be harmful for people with phenylketonuria (a metabolic disorder characterized by elevated levels of phenylalanine in the blood).
Method of use:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine should not be used for a long period of time. Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3-4 days.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 6 to 10 tablets daily . Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly in your mouth.
Children over 6 years of age: 3 to 5 tablets daily. Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly in your mouth.
Angal Lemon should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
If you have used more Angal Lemon than you should:
With proper use, the risk of overdose is very small. Symptoms of overdose are: fatigue, tinnitus, difficulty breathing, heart rhythm disorders, impaired control of the swallowing reflex.
If you forget to use Angal Lemon:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. If you have stopped using Angal Lemon No special measures are necessary.
If you have any further questions related to the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage:
Keep out of the reach of children. To be stored below 25°C in the original packaging. Do not use Angal Limon after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/blister after EXP.
Do not dispose of medicines down the drain or in the household waste container. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
