Bronchostop Spray is a medicinal product for the treatment of inflammations in the mouth and throat such as sore throat, hoarseness and swallowing problems due to colds. Contains thyme and sage extract. The essential oils in the active substances have a disinfectant effect. The tannins in the active substances have an astringent and local anti-inflammatory effect.

How to take BRONCHOSTOP spray
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, apply 1 to 2 sprays into the mouth and throat, 2-4 times a day.
- Lift the rotating pump nozzle at a right angle to the bottle (see drawing).
- Aim the top of the spray at the desired application site in the mouth. Even hard-to-reach areas (e.g. dental pockets) can be easily reached with the pump nozzle.
- Spray BRONCHOSTOP spray on the painful areas by pressing once or twice.
- Close the pump after each application by turning the nozzle in the opposite direction (see drawing).
Use in children and adolescents
Due to lack of sufficient data, the use of this medicine in children and adolescents is not recommended.
Duration of application
If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.
If you take more BRONCHOSTOP spray than you should
Cases of overdose have been reported after taking doses corresponding to more than 15 g of sage leaves. In this case, you may experience:
- feeling of warmth;
- rapid heartbeat;
- dizziness;
- seizures (convulsions).
In case of a significant overdose, contact your doctor. He/she will advise you on measures to take if necessary.

What does BRONCHOSTOP Spray contain?
The active substances are:
sage, liquid leaf extract, thyme, liquid stem extract.
The other ingredients are: peppermint, liquid leaf extract, menthol, saccharin sodium (E954), hydroxypropylcellulose, ethanol (alcohol) (60%), purified water.
1 g contains:
0.32 g Sage (Salviae off.), liquid leaf extract
0.32 g Thyme (Thymus vulg. / Thymus zyg.), liquid extract of stems
1 spray = 126 mg = 0.14 ml.
