Bronchostop Syrup is a medicinal product for dry and wet cough with fully plant-based active substances. The product contains two natural active ingredients that relieve throat irritation in case of a dry cough and support the expectoration of stringy secretions in case of a wet cough. The extract of the roots of medicinal rouge effectively relieves a dry cough by forming a protective layer on the irritated mucous membrane, which reduces the urge to cough ( cough impulse ). Polysaccharides from the roots of medicinal rouge exhibit a softening and anti-inflammatory effect, thus relieving cough. Thyme has been known for centuries as an expectorant that helps expel secretions through coughing. In addition, the thyme essential oil contained in the extract has antiseptic properties.
Bronchostop Syrup contains pure natural raspberry syrup. Contains no lactose or ingredients of animal origin.

How to take BRONHOSTOP syrup
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
10 ml of BRONCHOSTOP syrup every 3 hours up to 6 times a day (the maximum daily dose is up to 60 ml) .
Children aged 4 to 12 years:
5 ml of BRONCHOSTOP syrup every 3 hours up to 6 times a day (the maximum daily dose is up to 30 ml) .
Children under 4 years of age:
Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data and the need to consult a doctor.
Application method
For oral use.
Take BRONCHOSTOP syrup undiluted by pouring the dose given above into the measuring cup provided, which is graduated from 2.5 ml to 20 ml.
If necessary, BRONHOSTOP syrup can be taken dissolved in water or warm tea.
Duration of application
Self-medication with BRONCHOSTOP syrup should be limited to 5 days. If you do not see any improvement by then, you should seek medical attention as you may have a more serious illness.
If you have taken more than the required dose of BRONHOSTOP syrup
If you have taken significantly more of this medicine, the symptoms of known side effects may be more intense. In this case, inform your doctor. He can take action if necessary.
If you forget to take BRONHOSTOP syrup
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

What BRONHOSTOP syrup contains
The active substances are:
5 ml (approximately 5.7 g) of syrup contain:
- 0 . 77 g Garden thyme (Thymus vulg./Thymus zyg.) , liquid extract of stalks ((1:2-2.5 ) , extracting agent: ammonia 10% (w/w) , aqueous solution: glycerol 85% (w/ w): ethanol 90% (v/v): water in a ratio of 1:20:70:109)
- 0 . 66 g Medicinal rouge (Althaea off.), liquid root extract ((1:20) , extracting agent: water)
The other ingredients are: concentrated raspberry juice, ascorbic acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol (approximately 5% (w/w), sucrose, purified water.
One dose (5 ml) contains 1 . 75 g of sucrose corresponding to approximately 0 . 15 carbohydrate units (BU).
