Bronchostop Blue is a medicinal product for dry and wet cough with entirely herbal active ingredients, suitable for children over 2 years of age and adults.
Aimed primarily for use in children, the product is created without alcohol and without sugar.
The product contains two natural active ingredients that relieve throat irritation in dry coughs and help expectorate tough mucus in wet coughs. The extract of marshmallow roots effectively relieves dry coughs by forming a protective layer on the irritated mucous membrane, which reduces the urge to cough (cough impulse). Polysaccharides from marshmallow roots have a softening and anti-inflammatory effect, thus relieving coughs. Garden thyme has been known for centuries as an expectorant that helps expel secretions through coughing. In addition, the thyme essential oil contained in the extract has antiseptic properties.
Bronchostop Blue contains raspberry extract. It does not contain lactose or ingredients of animal origin.

How to take BRONCHOSTOP BLUE
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
15 ml every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times daily; maximum daily dose: up to 90 ml).
Children aged 4 to 12 years:
7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day, maximum daily dose: up to 45 ml).
Children aged 2 to 4 years:
After consulting a doctor, 7.5 ml can be taken every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day, maximum daily dose: up to 45 ml).
Children under 2 years of age:
Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to lack of sufficient data on efficacy and safety and due to the need for consultation with a doctor in this age group.
Method of administration
For oral use.
Take BRONCHOSTOP BLUE undiluted by pouring the dose indicated above into the provided measuring cup, which has divisions from 2.5 ml to 20 ml.
If necessary, you can take BRONCHOSTOP BLUE diluted in water or warm tea.
Duration of application
Self-treatment with BRONCHOSTOP BLUE should be limited to 5 days. If you do not see any improvement by then, you should seek medical attention as you may have a more serious illness.
If you take more BRONCHOSTOP BLUE than you should
If you have taken significantly more of this medicine, the symptoms of known side effects may become more intense. In this case, inform your doctor. He or she can take measures if necessary.
If you forget to take BRONCHOSTOP BLUE
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

What does BRONCHOSTOP BLUE contain?
The active substances are:
15 ml (=16.7 g) of the solution contains:
- 0.12 g Garden thyme (Thymus vulg. Thymus zyg.), dry extract of stems ((7 - 13:1); extractant: water);
- 0.83 g Marshmallow (Althaea off.), liquid root extract ((1:13); extractant: water).
The other ingredients are: xylitol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, raspberry extract, raspberry flavor, xanthan gum, citric acid (E330), maltodextrin, gum arabic, purified water.
