Sintus® syrup is suitable for the symptomatic treatment of dry (non-productive) cough of various origins in adults and children over 3 years of age.

Butamirate citrate has a pronounced antitussive effect. It also has a non-specific peripheral anticholinergic and bronchospasmolytic effect, which is also enhanced by a certain anti-inflammatory effect.
