Sintus® syrup is suitable for the symptomatic treatment of dry (non-productive) cough of various origins in adults and children over 3 years of age.
Butamirate citrate has a pronounced antitussive effect. It also has a non-specific peripheral anticholinergic and bronchospasmolytic effect, which is also enhanced by a certain anti-inflammatory effect.
It does not cause the typical side effects of narcotic antitussives, such as sedation, constipation and addiction. It has a wide therapeutic range . The product does not contain sugar.
