Description of the product:
Aspirin Complex has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces temperature, unclogs the nose and relieves cold pain. The white to yellowish granules contain two medicinal substances, acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
This medicine is used to treat the symptoms of nasal/sinus congestion (rhinosinusitis), and pain and fever associated with common cold and/or flu-like symptoms. If you experience only one of the above symptoms, it may be more appropriate to take a medicine that contains only one of the medicinal substances.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek
medical help.
Application:
Oral administration.
Adults and adolescents (over 16 years of age): pour the contents of 1-2 Aspirin Complex sachets into a glass of water and mix well. Drink the entire contents of the glass immediately. Caution: the granules do not dissolve completely.
If necessary, the single dose can be repeated after a period of 4 hours. The maximum daily dose of 6 sachets should not be exceeded.
Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days without talking to your doctor.
Aspirin Complex is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.
Active substances: acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg).

Precautions:
Do not take Aspirin Complex
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylsalicylic acid, pseudoephedrine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- if you have a history of asthma caused by the use of salicylates or substances with a similar effect (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs);
- if you suffer from a stomach ulcer;
- if you have an increased tendency to bleed;
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- if you have kidney or liver failure;
- if you have severe heart failure;
- if you take 15 mg (or more) of methotrexate per week;
- if you have very high blood pressure or severe coronary artery disease;
- if you suffer from narrow-angle glaucoma
- if you suffer from urinary retention
- if you are also taking an antidepressant containing a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (or have taken it in the previous two weeks).
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Aspirin Complex
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to other analgesics, antirheumatic products or anti-inflammatory medications;
- if you suffer from allergies, asthma, hay fever, swelling of the nasal mucosa (nasal polyps) or chronic lung disease;
- if you are also taking other medicines to thin the blood and prevent it from clotting;
- if you have a history of stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding;
- if you have impaired kidney, liver or cardiovascular function;
- if you are about to have an operation
- if you suffer from an overactive thyroid gland, mild to moderate hypertension, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, increased eye pressure (glaucoma), an enlarged prostate gland or sensitivity to any of the ingredients of cough/cold medicines such as phenylephrine and ephedrine (sympathomimetics );
- if you suffer from renal tubular acidosis, which means that the kidneys cannot remove acid from the body properly. This may lead to an increased risk of side effects due to higher levels of pseudoephedrine in the blood.
- if you regularly take a number of painkillers (especially a combination of different analgesic drugs). You are at increased risk of permanent kidney damage;
- if you are prone to gout.
- if you have G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) deficiency (an inherited disease that affects red blood cells).
- if you experience reddening of large areas of the skin with elevated temperature and pus bubbles, stop taking Aspirin Complex and contact your doctor or seek medical help immediately.
- sudden abdominal pain or rectal bleeding may occur when using
Aspirin Complex, due to inflammation of the colon (ischemic colitis).
- Aspirin may reduce blood flow to your optic nerve
Complex. If you experience sudden vision loss, stop taking Aspirin Complex and
contact your doctor or seek medical attention immediately.
Athletes should be aware that this medicinal product may cause positive reactions
in "anti-doping" research.
Due to the lack of data on the use of the combination of substances in Aspirin Complex, the product should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
