acetylsalicylic acid can cause severe hypersensitivity reactions
(including circulatory shock with flushing, low blood pressure, palpitations, and vomiting).
· if you have had asthma in the past, provoked by the use of salicylates or substances with
similar action, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
· during the last trimester of pregnancy (if you are more than 24 weeks pregnant).

Talk to your doctor before taking Aspirin S Forte if:
- you are using other medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid to avoid the risk of overdose;
- if a headache occurs while taking high doses of painkillers for a long period;

Do not take Aspirin C Forte if you have severely damaged kidneys or decompensated heart failure. Do not take Aspirin S Forte if you have impaired liver function, if you have heavy menstrual bleeding, if you are about to undergo an operation.
Acetylsalicylic acid reduces uric acid excretion if you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency: an inherited disease that affects red blood cells, if you have increased oxalate excretion (hyperoxaluria), with a tendency to calcium-oxalate kidney stones or recurrent kidney stones if you have iron accumulation or iron absorption disorders (thalassemia, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia) if you have asthma.
Acetylsalicylic acid can cause bronchospasm and trigger asthma attacks or other hypersensitivity reactions. Risk factors are:
