Vagisan lactic acid is a medical device in the form of vaginal suppositories, designed to maintain and restore the natural pH levels in the vagina and contribute to a healthy environment.
Vagisan Lactic Acid quickly and effectively restores the vaginal environment while adjusting the pH level to normal for the vagina. It quickly compensates for the effects of alkaline body fluids such as menstrual blood or semen (their pH levels are above 7). Available in a pack of 7 vaginal suppositories.
Composition:
1 suppository contains lactic acid, macrogol 1500, macrogol 6000, sodium lactate.
Method of use:
Insert one suppository as deep as possible into the vagina in the evening before going to bed. The suppository is easier to insert if it is moistened under running water beforehand. It is recommended to use a daily sanitary pad due to the high solubility of the suppositories, which may cause increased discharge.
The duration of application is usually 5 - 7 days. Vagisan Lactic Acid can also be used two to three times a week for a longer period of time (one suppository in the evening).
