BONGEN / BONGEN is a food supplement in the form of drinking ampoules. A specially developed formula that helps the formation of collagen and contributes to the normal functioning of bones, joints and cartilage.

Osteoarthritis is the most common chronic joint disease and is more likely to occur with age. The knee joint, the hip joint, the small joints of the arm, as well as the neck and lower back are most often affected. It is accompanied by pain, stiffness and difficulty in movement, which leads to a significant deterioration in the quality of life. Age, genetic factors, diabetes, obesity, and physical overload are important for the development of osteoarthritis. All of them lead to the development of mild chronic inflammation, which leads to the destruction of the main structures of the intercellular substance in the cartilage (collagen type II and proteoglycans). As a result, the cartilage changes its structure and can be damaged even under normal load.

Type II collagen is a major building block of cartilage tissue. The collagen molecule is large and difficult for the body to absorb. That is why it is subjected to hydrolysis, which produces small peptides that are absorbed by the body and possess biological activity. Taken orally, hydrolyzed type II collagen balances the immune system and leads to a reduction in inflammation, which translates into reduced swelling and joint pain and improved mobility.
Hyaluronic acid is an important structural component of articular cartilage. It absorbs water and is responsible for the flexibility and elasticity of cartilage and for its resistance to pressure, impact and movement.
Vitamin C, together with hydrolyzed type II collagen, stimulate the synthesis of own collagen and hyaluronic acid from the cells in the joints and thus restores damaged joints.
Vitamin B3 , also known as niacin or nicotinic acid, is a key vitamin for human health that is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats and helps repair damaged DNA.
Vitamin D3 plays an important role in calcium, phosphate and bone metabolism. Among the Bulgarian population of all age groups, a significant deficiency of Vitamin D3 has been found, which increases the risk of developing osteoarthritis 3 times and accelerates its progression.
Silicon (Si) is an essential element supporting the normal function of the connective tissue of the joints. It has been found that even when vitamin D3 intake is sufficient, in the absence of silicon, decreased bone calcification and decreased collagen synthesis are reported, and therefore Si must be obtained daily.
