Capsules with vitamin D 3 dissolved in natural linseed oil.
1 capsule contains:
g vitamin D3, corresponds to 2,000 international units (= IU) dissolved in 300 mg of linseed oil.
Recommended consumption: 1 capsule every 2nd day with any meal, with a little water.
Note : Fat-soluble vitamin D3 is dissolved in natural linseed oil, therefore, Vitamin D3 Köhler 2,000 IU can be taken independently of food .
Vitamin D3 Köhler 2000 IU is gluten-free, fructose-free, yeast-free, lactose-free and coloring and preservative-free.

Importance of vitamin D 3
Vitamin D3, also called cholecalciferol, occupies a special place among vitamins because the body can only produce it when the skin is exposed to sunlight and store it in muscle and fat tissue. For this reason, vitamin D is also known as the "Sunshine Vitamin".
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of the normal function of bones, teeth and muscles. In recent years, the importance of an adequate supply of vitamin D for cell division has been established, as has the importance of vitamin D3 for normal blood calcium levels.
A lifestyle that includes little exposure to the sun can lead to vitamin D deficiency. Things get worse when people who are outdoors use sunscreen for fear of sunburn and rapid skin aging. However, this leads to a decrease in the own synthesis of vitamin D in the skin.
Foods that contain vitamin D include: fatty fish, liver and egg yolk. Cod liver oil in particular is an important source of vitamin D.
However, regular consumption of foods rich in vitamin D does not always correspond to normal eating habits, so the intake of vitamin D through food supplies only a small amount of vitamin D to the body. In these cases, daily consumption of a dietary supplement containing vitamin D3 may be beneficial.
