Adults over 18 years : Initial dose of 500 mg, followed by 250 mg at 6-8 hourly intervals as needed.
Maximum daily dose of 750 mg after the first day.
To be taken preferably during or after a meal.
Pediatric population
Etrixenal is not recommended for use in children.
- Contraindications:
- Presence or history of active peptic ulcer or active gastrointestinal bleeding. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) therapy;
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients;
- Severe kidney, liver or heart failure;
- Hemorrhagic diathesis;
- Etrixenal is contraindicated during the last trimester of pregnancy
