Citicoline is a food ingredient intended to provide natural choline and cytidine intake in the body. Intended for use in food supplements targeting the middle-aged population (maximum 500 mg/day) and in foods for special medical purposes (maximum 250 mg/serving, up to 1 g/day).

Not intended for consumption by children.

What is Citizin®?

Citizin® is a form of citicoline, a natural compound found in every cell of the body and particularly important for the proper functioning of the brain. Citicoline is identical to CDP-choline (cytidyl diphosphate choline), a natural metabolite that plays an important role in the synthesis of phospholipids, a major component of all cell membranes.
