WHAT IS LINEX FOR KIDS
LINEX FOR CHILDREN powder for oral suspension contains live lyophilized bacteria of the Bifidobacterium species, which restore and maintain the balance of the intestinal microflora.
BIFIDOBACTERIA
Bifidobacteria (probiotic bacteria) are normally present in the gastrointestinal tract and are called intestinal microflora. The microflora of infants is mainly composed of these bacteria and they are considered particularly important in the first months of life. They maintain the healthy acid-base balance necessary for the normal functioning of digestive enzymes, stop the growth of harmful bacteria, affect the movements of the intestinal environment (peristalsis) and stimulate the development of the immune system.
The healthy balance of the intestinal microflora can be disturbed by many factors such as viral and bacterial intestinal infections (eg rotavirus infections), antibiotic treatment or improper diet.
Disturbed microflora balance appears as colic, gas, diarrhea, constipation or atopic dermatitis.
The application of bifidobacteria is beneficial for the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora, as it restores its natural state.
WARNINGS
For safety reasons, do not give LINEX BABY to your child if:
is allergic (hypersensitive) to some of the product's ingredients or to milk proteins;
have immunodeficiency conditions (e.g. HIV infection);
have intolerance to glucose, fructose or sucrose;
This nutritional supplement cannot replace a well-balanced and varied diet.
USE AND RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
As a dietary supplement, we recommend taking:
Children between 2 and 12 years of age: 1 sachet once to twice daily, preferably with meals.
Infants and children under 2 years: 1 sachet once a day, preferably during a meal.
The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
Open the sachet and pour the contents into a glass of water, juice or milk. You can also mix the powder with baby food.
To avoid killing the bacteria, you should not mix the powder with hot drinks. If your child is taking antibiotics, the recommended interval between the antibiotic and LINEX BABY is at least 3 hours.
STORAGE
To be stored below 25 ºС in the original packaging.
