LINEX Forte capsules contain live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria with added prebiotics / inulin with oligofructose / which regulate and maintain the balance of intestinal flora.
Lactic acid bacteria
Lactic acid bacteria /probiotics/ are naturally present in the small and large intestines and are called intestinal microflora. They maintain the healthy acid-base balance necessary for the normal functioning of digestive enzymes, prevent the growth of disease-causing bacteria and influence intestinal motility /peristalsis/ and the immune system. Probiotics / inulin with oligofructose / are sugars that cannot be broken down and used by the human body, but are digested by intestinal bacteria.
The healthy balance of intestinal microflora can be disturbed by a number of factors such as viral and bacterial intestinal infections, antibiotic treatment, travel abroad or alcohol consumption. Such digestive disorders can be a consequence of a lifestyle where there is improper nutrition and stress. Intestinal imbalance manifests as flatulence, diarrhea or constipation. The combination of lactic acid bacteria with probiotics is beneficial for the physiological balance of the intestinal microflora, as it restores it to its natural state.
Warnings
Do not use LINEX Forte if you have a chronic intestinal disease, an immune deficiency state, or are allergic to any of the product's ingredients.
If you have diabetes, you should use this product carefully because it may contain simple sugars.
You should not take the capsules with alcohol or hot drinks in order not to cause the destruction of the bacteria in the capsules.
If you are taking antibiotics, the recommended interval between antibiotics and LINEX Forte is at least 3 hours.
This nutritional supplement cannot replace a well-balanced and varied diet.
Method of use
The capsules are swallowed with a little liquid after a meal.
Recommended dose:
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 capsule 1-3 times a day.
Children aged between 2 and 12 years: 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.
Infants and children under 2 years: 1 capsule once a day.
The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
When LINEX Forte is given to children who cannot swallow the capsule, the capsule can be opened, the contents poured into a spoon and mixed with a little liquid.
Composition
Each hard capsule contains not less than 2x109 colony-forming units of live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria of the species Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium.
The other ingredients are:
inulin with oligofructose, anhydrous dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, potato starch, magnesium stearate, milk protein residues.
