EFFECOL 3350 JUNIOR x 12 bags
EFFECOL 3350 JUNIOR / EFFECOL 3350 JUNIOR is a medical product useful for chronic constipation, in children over 2 years old and weighing over 10 kg. Thanks to its osmotic action, it regulates intestinal peristalsis.
Each sachet contains: 6.563g Macrogol (polyethylene glycol) 3350.
Dosage and use: Children from 2 to 6 years: 1 sachet (6.563g) daily. Children from 7 to 12 years: 2 sachets (6.563g) daily. Open the sachet and dissolve it in 62.5ml (about half a cup) of water.
Storage conditions: Store the product in a dry place away from heat and light sources. Open the sachet immediately before use.
Do not use if the integrity of the sachets is broken. Store out of the reach of children, at room temperature (<25°C).
Warnings: Do not take Evacol / Effecol Junior in cases of intestinal stenoses or obstructions, perforations of the intestinal tract, inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis). At the necessary doses for therapy, side effects have not been reported. Gastrointestinal disorders, abdominal pain, nausea and mild diarrhea can sometimes be observed. In case of side effect, please consult a doctor. So far, there are no recorded interactions with drugs, but it is recommended that the product be taken at least 2 hours after taking other medicinal forms taken orally, due to the osmotic effect of macrogol.
