Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol) is a fat-soluble, powerful antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress, prevents the breakdown of saturated fatty acids and vitamin A and the combination with substances that may be harmful to the body.
It plays an important role in cellular respiration of all muscles, especially the heart and skeletal muscles. Vitamin E allows these muscles and nerves to function with less oxygen, thus increasing their endurance. It dilates blood vessels, allowing better blood flow to the heart. It has been shown that the natural “d” form of vitamin E is more active than the synthetic “dl” form.
The product is a natural source of vitamin E as D-alpha tocopherol with mixed tocopherols. D-alpha tocopherol together with mixed tocopherols has greater antioxidant properties than D-alpha tocopherol alone.
