HERBAMEDICA PRIM OIL 500mg x 100 caps
Evening primrose oil contains Omega 6 unsaturated fatty acids: linolenic and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The product is very suitable for use in the treatment of PMS, as it relieves symptoms and reduces sensitivity in the breast area. It is also often recommended for the treatment or prevention of skin diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, and other conditions.
Active ingredients:
One capsule contains Evening Primrose Oil (Linoleic Acid 375 mg, Gamma Linolenic Acid 50 mg), Vitamin E (d-alphatocopherol) 3.64 mg
Dosage:
For premenstrual syndrome /PMS/ - 4 capsules daily from 5 to 10 days before the period. During the rest of the time, one or two capsules are sufficient.
During menopause - 2 capsules provide the necessary 100mg of GLA to maintain hormonal balance in the body.
For eczema, acne, dermatitis, dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin - in severe conditions - 4 caps. daily. For a better effect, the affected areas can also be treated externally with the oil from the capsule. For milder conditions and to maintain beautiful skin, 1-2 caps. are sufficient.
Allergies - to control the initial symptoms 4 capsules daily. For maintenance therapy - 1-2 capsules per day.
Reproductive problems - 4 capsules daily with liquids. Prim oil should be taken only from menstruation until ovulation. Discontinue and resume on the first day of the next menstruation.
For all other problems described above - 2 to 4 capsules per day depending on the condition.
Prim oil is taken half an hour after meals.
Warnings:
If you are being treated with any of the following medications, you should not use Prim oil.
Phenothizines - those taking the class of phenothiazines (such as chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, perphenazine, promazine, and thioridazine) for the treatment of schizophrenia should not take evening primrose, as there is a risk of seizures if there is an interaction.
Other possible interactions - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs and herbs.
Although extremely rare, some side effects may occur, such as nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, or headache.
Omega 6 fatty acids should not be used for epilepsy or single epileptic seizures, as they could induce them.
Do not take if you have blood problems.
The product is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
