I. WHAT IS CYSTITIS?
Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder that occurs more often in women than men, with 4 out of every 5 women suffering from cystitis at least once in their lives.
The most common cause of cystitis is the bacterium E. coli. Risk factors for its occurrence include urinary retention in the bladder, catheterization, pregnancy, inflammation of the genitals, the use of spermicides, sexual intercourse, hormonal changes, menopause, kidney stones, bacterial infection of the prostate, enlarged prostate in men, and other conditions that prevent the bladder from emptying completely or act as a source of infection.
The symptoms of cystitis are easy to recognize and start with discomfort when urinating. Then, the urge to urinate becomes frequent, ineffective, and painful, accompanied by pain and burning. The color and odor of the urine may change, and sometimes there may even be blood in it.
Delayed diagnosis or incorrect treatment with inappropriate antibiotics can lead to chronic, recurring cystitis – an extremely painful condition that is very difficult to treat.
With correct and timely diagnosis, adequate treatment and prevention, cystitis is treatable and its recurrences can be successfully avoided.
II. WHAT IS CYSTOSTOP ® SR?
CYSTOSTOP ® SR is a preparation that has a rapid beneficial effect on the health of the urinary tract (bladder, urethra, ureters) and kidneys.
CYSTOSTOP ® SR tablets are manufactured using innovative technology, allowing for a prolonged, gradual release of the drug's ingredients. This ensures constant adequate concentrations of the active substances in the body, higher efficiency and easier administration of the drug.
Each CYSTOSTOP ® SR tablet contains:

- γ – 50 mg (a preserved combination of standardized dry extract of American cranberry - Vaccinum macrocarpon and standard
dartized dry extract of birch leaves - Betulla spp., containing 18 mg of proanthocyanidins type A and proanthocyanidins type B, 3,5,7,3',4'-penta-hydroxy-flavone; 3,7,3',4'-tetra-hydroxy-flavone and epicatechin – (4b
6) – epicatechin – (4b 8, 2b O 7) – epicatechin, flavonoids, terpenes, tannins).
CYSTOSTOP ® SR is a dietary supplement.
III. HOW DOES CYSTOSTOP ® SR WORK AND WHO IS IT INTENDED FOR?
CYSTOSTOP ® SR has a rapid beneficial effect on the health of the urinary tract and kidneys, maintaining urine at its physiological levels of bacterial purity.
D-mannose is excreted unchanged in the urine up to 90 minutes after ingestion. There it exerts its rapid, beneficial effect, helping to cleanse the urinary tract with the act of urination. Only two hours after ingestion of D-mannose, only about 10% of it remains in the body, which necessitates its frequent intake (usually every 2 hours). CYSTOSTOP ® SR extended-release tablets ensure a gradual excretion of D-mannose in the body and its sufficient concentration in the urine. Thanks to this, the effect of D-mannose is even better, and the intake of the preparation is significantly facilitated, being reduced to 3 times a day .
The patented combination BetaVac TM γ consists of a specially created combination of birch leaf and American red bilberry extracts. The red bilberry extract contains biologically active substances - proanthocyanidins, which are excreted in the urine, where they support the beneficial effect of D-mannose. Proanthocyanidins and D-mannose mutually enhance their action, and the effect of their joint application is significantly better than their separate use. Other biologically active substances in BetaVac TM γ support the action of D-mannose and proanthocyanidins, supporting the natural formation of urine and cleansing the urinary tract with the act of urination.
The effect of CYSTOSTOP ® SR is fast and is felt within the first hours after taking the preparation.
IV. WHO SHOULD NOT TAKE CYSTOSTOP ® SR?
Do not take CYSTOSTOP ® SR if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any of the product's ingredients.
V. WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CYSTOSTOP ® SR?
So far, there are no known side effects of the preparation and contraindications for its use. Its tolerance is very good, which allows safe use for a long period of time. CYSTOSTOP ® SR can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as in people with diabetes. It is also suitable for children over 6 years of age, with the dose determined by a specialist, according to the child's weight.
VI. HOW SHOULD CYSTOSTOP ® SR BE TAKEN?
Take CYSTOSTOP ® SR as early as possible, at the first signs of its need.
CYSTOSTOP ® SR should be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
ADMISSION SCHEME :
Five consecutive days - 3 times x 2 tablets, every 6 hours.
VII. STORAGE
Store CYSTOSTOP ® SR in its original packaging at a temperature of up to 25°C, in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
Do not use the preparation after its expiration date or if the integrity of the packaging is damaged.
