Hemp oil is extracted from legal hemp plants (Cannabis sativa). It is obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds. It has an earthy taste and aroma with hints of nuts or sunflower seeds. Mattisson hemp oil capsules do not contain THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). Hemp oil seeds are a real wealth of nutrients and vitamins necessary for the proper functioning of the human body.
What is valuable for human health in the composition of hemp seed oil?
Of all plants, hemp seed has the highest content of essential fatty acids. Only in it unsaturated fatty acids account for 80-85% of the total content. Hemp seed oil carries the optimal ratio of essential Omega-6 acid to Omega-3 acid (3:1).
Omega-6 fatty acids protect cells from external damage and strengthen their natural barrier. In addition, they are able to normalize blood pressure and have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the cardiovascular system.

It has many beneficial properties and is found only in some oil-bearing plants.
