Melatonin is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. It helps regulate other hormones and maintains the body's circadian rhythm, an internal 24-hour time-keeping system that affects how and when we fall asleep and wake up. Melatonin levels are low during the day and rise during the normal sleep period at night. The amount of melatonin released at night varies among individuals and decreases with age.
When the usual rhythm is disturbed, for example by travel or shift work, additional melatonin can help restore the body's "natural clock" and improve sleep duration and quality. Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, mint flavor,
croscarmellose sodium, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).
Does not contain: Artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, starch, wheat,

Suitable for vegans and/or vegetarians.
Application: Contributes to the maintenance of normal sleep function.
Note: Use with alcohol and sedative medications is not recommended.
