Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids, the most important of which are Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Only a few types of food contain these vital ingredients. These include cold-water fish - salmon, herring and mackerel. Our body cannot produce Omega-3 fatty acids on its own, which is why they must be obtained as part of a varied daily diet or by taking nutritional supplements.

The omega-3 fatty acids contained in ABOPHARMA salmon fish oil contribute to balanced cholesterol and triglyceride levels, normal heart function, normal brain function and normal vision.

Omega-3s protect the blood from blood clots, lower blood pressure, support hormonal balance, and strengthen the body's immunity.

Omega-3s stimulate the muscle glands responsible for tearing the eye, relieving irritation and discomfort in the so-called "Dry Eye" and increasing the resistance of the eye.

The vitamin E added to the product contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.
