Prophylact Forte ®
Prophylact Forte ® is a food supplement that contains an optimal combination of yeast Saccharomyces boulardii (S. boulardii) and probiotic bacteria to maintain intestinal balance. Prophylact Forte® is designed to support and regulate the balance of the gastrointestinal flora with a beneficial effect in digestive disorders.
It is available in the form of capsules and is intended for oral administration.
What is intestinal microflora?
The intestinal microflora is billions of bacteria naturally present in the human colon. It is a protective barrier against harmful microorganisms (including bacteria, viruses and fungi) that enter the digestive tract through food, contaminated objects or hands, cause infections and thus disrupt normal intestinal function. Intestinal microflora works in sync with the immune system against harmful microorganisms.
Each capsule at the time of packaging contains 5 billion lyophilized live probiotic microorganisms:
Saccharomyces boulardii
Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell ® -52
Lactobacillus rhamnosus Rosell ® -11 and
Bifidobacterium longum Rosell ® -175

Ingredients: starch, Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-1079, Lactobacillus helveticus R0052, Bifidobacterium longum R0175, Lactobacillus rhamnosus R0011, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, antioxidant-ascorbic acid, coloring: titanium dioxide. A mixture of probiotic bacteria that may contain traces of dairy products and soy .
The lyophilization process allows preserving the vitality of the probiotic microorganisms in the product. After release from the capsule, the microorganisms again become active in the intestine, where their action takes place.
Who is Prophylact Forte ® intended for and when is it used?
Prophylact Forte ® is recommended for adults and children over 3 years of age. Persons hypersensitive to any of the product's ingredients should not use Prophylact Forte ® .
Do not take Prophylact Forte ® if you are taking antifungal agents at the same time.
The use of products containing Saccharomyces cerevisae var. boulardii is not recommended in immunocompromised users and those with central venous catheters.
How is Prophylact Forte ® used ?
The usual dosage for adults and children is 1 capsule daily, during meals.
If you cannot swallow a capsule, open it and dilute the contents in a small amount of water, another cold drink, or stir into cold food.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
How to store Prophylact Forte ® ?
Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place to protect from moisture.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the carton.
Prophylact Forte® is available in packs of 10 capsules.
