ALOKA Organic Goji Berry Dried Fruit 250g

Goji Berry is an exotic Asian plant, also known as lychee and merjan. It has an extremely high and at the same time balanced nutritional value: carbohydrates 68%, proteins 12%, fats 10% and fibers 10%. Source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. With a high concentration of minerals, vitamins and amino acids (calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, selenium, vitamin B2, vitamin C, betacarotene, zeaxanthin, polysaccharides). It is believed to prevent aging, is considered for beauty and youth, energy, strength and patience. In traditional Chinese medicine, Goji berries are used to counteract Qi deficiency. They grow at high altitudes under natural conditions. The berries are slightly dried in moderately warm sun. The product is suitable as an additive to muesli, pastries or soup for every day.

Goji berry recipe

Prepare a delicious salad dressing with organic dried Goji berries. Goji berries add a light, sweet-sour flavor and are a unique addition to a refreshing summer salad.

Required products:

1/4 tsp. organic dried goji berries
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp grated lemon zest
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Heat water over medium-high heat and soak goji berries for about 3-5 minutes until soft.
2. Drain the fruit, leaving a little water at the bottom /about 2 tbsp/ and blend in a blender until smooth.
2. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, honey, and goji berry mixture.
3. Add the olive oil, lemon zest and season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour over the salad and enjoy!
