Nutritional yeast is made from primary inactive yeast without artificial additives or preservatives. This vegan food has a nutty flavor and is also reminiscent of the taste of cheese and yellow cheese.

Nutritional yeast flakes are one of the richest sources of B vitamins and trace elements. They are an all-natural food, a primary strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast grown on enriched purified molasses under carefully controlled conditions. This ensures the absence of Candida albicans.

Properties of Nutritional Yeast

Nutritional yeast contains all 9 essential amino acids, making it a natural source of protein. It is rich in beta glucans (soluble fiber), iron, selenium, chromium, and a huge range of all kinds of enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that boost the immune system, lower blood cholesterol levels, and protect against chronic diseases and cancer. It is a good source of protein and is very low in sodium, while adding fiber.
