Medel SENSE has an innovative technology capable of detecting the state of rest and relaxation during the measurement, which is essential to obtain more reliable and accurate values. A symbol on the display confirms whether the measurement was performed in an optimal resting state or not. If there are external conditions (eg stress, agitation, measurement in motion) that may affect the correct measurement, an icon on the display will alert the user. Medel SENSE is also equipped with an indicator that informs the user of the correct positioning of the cuff to ensure accurate measurements. Comes with an adapter for use without batteries. Taking a blood pressure measurement
- Put on the cuff and assume the position in which you want to take the measurement.
- Start the blood pressure device with the START/STOP button. After the full screen display, the corresponding alarm symbols are displayed if an alarm has been triggered.
- The cuff inflates automatically. The air pressure in the cuff is released slowly. If there is already a tendency to high blood pressure, you should inflate the cuff and increase the pressure in it again. As soon as a pulse is detected, the pulse symbol will appear on the display.
- The cuff position control symbol is displayed throughout the measurement.
- Systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse rate measurements are displayed. A symbol is displayed to indicate whether you were sufficiently relaxed during the blood pressure measurement.
