Instructions for use
The device must be checked before each use to detect possible malfunctions and/or damage due to transport and/or storage. During inhalation, sit upright and relaxed on a table, not in an armchair, to avoid compressing the airways and impairing the effectiveness of the treatment.
1. After unpacking the device, check it for visible damage or defects; pay particular attention to cracks in the plastic housing that could expose electrical components to danger. Check the integrity of the accessories.
2. Before using the device, proceed with the cleaning operations as described in the "Cleaning and maintenance" section.
3. Open the atomizer by turning the top counter-clockwise.
4. Ensure that the drug conduction cone is properly seated on the air conduction cone inside the nebulizer.
5. Place the prescribed amount of medication in the nebulizer.
6. Close the atomizer by turning the two parts clockwise, making sure they are well sealed.
7. Connect one end of the air tube to the nebulizer and the other end to the device's air outlet.
8. If you must use the mask, place it directly on the nebulizer.
9. Insert the plug of the device into the outlet, making sure that the mains supply corresponds to the electrical data of the device.
10. To start the treatment, place the I/O switch in the "I" position.
Attention: this device is for intermittent use: 30 min ON. / 30 min OFF
11. Inhale the aerosol solution using the prescribed accessory.
12. When the treatment is finished, turn off the device by placing the I/O in the "0" position and disconnecting the plug from the outlet.
13. Wash the nebulizer and its accessories as described in the "Accessories Cleaning and Disinfection" section.
14. The device does not require calibration.
