FENIVIR 1% cream for the treatment of herpes on the lips 2g
FENIVIR 1% Cream / FENIVIR 1% Cream
Penciclovir / Penciclovir
FENIVIR is used to treat herpes on the lips and around the mouth (herpes labialis). Herpes is caused by a viral infection. The virus can remain inactive for a long period, but when stimulated, it multiplies and herpes develops. This can happen, for example, when your immune system is weakened by colds and flu, or when you are exposed to strong sunlight. The virus causes a painful rash on the lips.
FENIVIR contains penciclovir, which is an antiviral drug that stops the virus from multiplying. By applying FENIVIR, you will heal herpes faster and reduce the duration of pain. You will also shorten the time that cold sores are contagious, although using FENIVIR does not prevent the possibility of passing cold sores to another person.
If after 4 days you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical attention. medical help.
Do not use FENIVIR , if you are allergic to penciclovir, famciclovir, as well as to any of the other ingredients of FENIVIR
