SHORT DESCRIPTION:

Enterol 250 mg powder

for oral suspension

Lyophilized yeast Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745

Medicinal product that is used as an antidiarrheal agent for:

- treatment of acute infectious diarrhea in adults and children;

- prevention and treatment of colitis and diarrhea caused by antibiotics;

- as an adjunct to treatment with vancomycin/metronidazole to prevent recurrence of diseases caused by Clostridium difficile;

- prevention of diarrhea due to tube feeding;

- treatment of irritable colon syndrome.

Dosage and method of administration:

1 or 2 sachets per day.

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a little water or a sweetened soft drink, stir and drink. The powder can also be mixed with food.

Enterol contains live cells. Therefore, this medicinal product should not be mixed with very hot (above 50°C), iced or alcoholic drinks and foods.
