Aspirin C
Aspirin C for cold, flu, fever and muscle pain x 20 effervescent tablets, Bayer
Aspirin C is an analgesic and antipyretic drug and belongs to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs.
Aspirin C is indicated to relieve the symptoms of headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, back pain, mild arthritis pain.
For colds or flu for symptomatic relief of pain and fever.
Application:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is: 1-2 effervescent tablets as a single dose, which, if necessary, can be repeated after a minimum of 4 hours. The maximum daily dose of 10 effervescent tablets (4000 mg acetylsalicylic acid) should not be exceeded.
Acetylsalicylic acid should not be taken for more than 3 days to reduce fever (as an antipyretic) and for more than 5 days as an analgesic without consulting a doctor.
For oral use. Effervescent tablets are dissolved in water before taking.
The use of acetylsalicylic acid in combination with ascorbic acid is not recommended in children under 12 years of age, unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.
Active substance: acetylsalicylic acid and ascorbic acid.
1 tablet contains 400 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and 240 mg of ascorbic acid.

Aspirin C
Precautions:
Do not take Aspirin C:
- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other salicylates, ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in point 6;
- if you have active stomach or duodenal ulcers;
- at risk of bleeding (hemorrhagic diatheses);
- if you have had asthma in the past, provoked by the use of salicylates or substances with a similar effect, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- in combination with methotrexate at doses of 15 mg/week or more (see "Other drugs and Aspirin C");
- if you suffer from severe kidney failure;
- if you suffer from severe liver failure;
- if you suffer from severe heart failure;
- during the last trimester of pregnancy (see "Pregnancy and breastfeeding").
Consult a doctor before use:
- if you are taking other medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid,
- if you have hypersensitivity to other analgesics, anti-inflammatory or anti-rheumatic drugs,
- if you are taking anticoagulants,
- if you regularly take painkillers,
- if you have previous manifestations of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis),
- if you suffer from liver, kidney, heart or cardiovascular diseases.
- if you suffer from bronchial asthma,
- various allergic reactions
- if you are to undergo surgery
- if you are taking other medicines at the same time.
Aspirin C should not be taken during the first six months of pregnancy without consulting a doctor. If medicinal products containing acetylsalicylic acid are used by a woman trying to conceive, or during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the dose should be as low as possible and the duration of treatment as short as possible.
Aspirin C should not be taken during the last three months of pregnancy due to the increased risk of complications for the mother and child during childbirth. As no harm to the newborn has been reported so far, it is not usually necessary to interrupt breastfeeding with short-term use of the recommended doses.
In case of regular intake or intake of high doses, prompt cessation of breastfeeding should be considered. Aspirin C contains 438 mg of sodium (main ingredient of table/table salt) in each tablet.
