Description of the product:
Aspirin Ultra contains acetylsalicylic acid, which relieves pain and lowers fever. Provides rapid pain relief due to rapid dissolution and rapid absorption of acetylsalicylic acid.
Aspirin Ultra is an analgesic and antipyretic drug and belongs to the group of anti-inflammatory medicinal products.
Aspirin Ultra is indicated for symptom relief in headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, back pain, mild arthritis pain.
For cold or flu for symptomatic treatment of pain and elevated body temperature.
Application:
Oral administration.
The recommended dose is:
Adults: 1-2 tablets as a single dose, which can be repeated after a minimum of 4 hours if necessary. The maximum daily dose of 4000 mg should not be exceeded.
Aspirin Ultra should not be administered to patients under 16 years of age, unless specifically prescribed by a physician.
The dosage for children should be after consultation with a doctor.
The dose should be reduced or the interval between doses increased in patients with impaired liver or kidney function.
Application method
Take the tablet with a glass of water, preferably immediately after a meal. You should not take Aspirin Ultra for a long time (more than 3 days) or in large doses without first consulting your doctor or dentist.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical attention.
Active substance: acetylsalicylic acid. One coated tablet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. For the full list of excipients, please read the leaflet.
Warnings and precautions:
Do not take Aspirin Ultra:
- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- if you are allergic to other salicylates;
- if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer;
- if you have a tendency to bleed;
- if you have asthma that is triggered by the use of salicylates or substances with a similar effect, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- when combined with methotrexate in high doses (> 15 mg/week);
- during the last trimester of pregnancy;
- if you have severe kidney or liver failure;
- if you have severe heart failure that is not adequately controlled with medicines.
Consult a doctor before taking if:
- you are allergic (hypersensitive) to other analgesic, anti-inflammatory or anti-rheumatic drugs or if you have other allergies;
- at the same time you take anticoagulants
- you suffer from bronchial asthma, hay fever, nasal polyps;
- you have chronic or recurrent complaints related to the stomach or duodenum, or there is evidence of gastrointestinal ulcers in the past, including chronic or recurrent (recurrent) peptic ulcer disease, or there is evidence of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract in the past;
- you have impaired renal function or in patients with impaired cardiovascular circulation (e.g. renal vascular disease, congestive heart failure, hypovolaemia, major surgery, blood poisoning (sepsis) or major haemorrhagic events), as acetylsalicylic acid may further increase the risk of kidney damage or acute kidney failure;
- you have impaired liver function;
- you are on a sodium controlled diet
1 tablet contains 3 mmol (72 mg) sodium.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
You must inform your doctor if you become pregnant during long-term treatment with Aspirin Ultra. Without consulting a doctor, Aspirin Ultra should not be taken during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. If medicinal products containing acetylsalicylic acid are used by a woman trying to conceive, or during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the dose should be as low as possible and the duration of treatment as short as possible.
Acetylsalicylic acid should not be taken during the last three months of pregnancy due to an increased risk of complications for the mother and child during childbirth. Like all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicinal products, Aspirin Ultra may suppress fertility in women of childbearing age.
