Astaxanthin - one of the most powerful natural antioxidants in nature. According to the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) oxidant scale, Astaxanthin is over 40 times more powerful than Vitamin E and over 10 times more powerful than other antioxidants such as zeaxanthin, canthaxanthin and beta-carotene. Through its unique molecular structure and antioxidant action, Astaxanthin protects the eyes from radiation damage from the sun by absorbing oxygen radicals. Another important benefit that Astaxanthin provides for vision is the reduction of eye fatigue and the feeling of stinging during prolonged close viewing (for example, when working at a computer).
Lutein - plays an important role in eye health. This organic pigment is present in the macula of the eye and prevents vision damage by absorbing harmful free radicals and filtering blue light. Numerous clinical studies have also been conducted that show that taking 10 mg of lutein per day improves visual acuity.
Bilberry - supports visual function in two ways - through its antioxidant effect and by significantly improving night vision. The anthocyanins contained in Bilberry have strong antioxidant properties and support the resistance of capillaries. Vitamin C - participates in cellular oxidation-reduction processes, as well as in the neutralization of toxic substances in the body. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant, which complements the action of Astaxanthin, neutralizing the free radicals captured by it in the polar zones of the cell. In addition, Vitamin C strengthens the walls of blood vessels and stimulates the body's natural immunity.
