N-acetyl carnosine is a natural component of the brain, nervous system and the lens of the eye. The concentration of carnosine is maximum in the lens of the eye. In its acetylated form, N-acetyl carnosine disrupts the glycation reaction of proteins, which is a major chemical reaction leading to the development of cataracts. It chemically binds to glucose and neutralizes it. N-acetyl carnosine reduces the risk of developing cataracts, even in people suffering from diabetes and obesity. Method of administration and dosage
Adults: 1-2 drops 2 times daily
Children: 1 drop 2 times daily
