Oview - ovulation test
Oview ovulation test is a reliable and easy-to-use test for determining the most suitable days for conception - when ovulation is most likely to occur. Oview ovulation test predicts the period of ovulation by measuring the levels of a specific hormone in the urine - Luteinizing hormone (LH). Available in a pack of 5 test strips.
Human luteinizing hormone (LH) is a glycoprotein hormone that is produced by the pituitary gland. LH has a molecular mass of 30,000 daltons. LH is involved in the regulation of ovulation and ovarian function during menstruation. Approximately 12 to 36 hours after the LH surge, the enlarged sac is ready to release the mature egg. Upon subsequent ovulation, LH returns to baseline within 48 hours. The sharp change in the level of LH during the menstrual cycle makes it suitable for reporting the presence of ovulation.
Method of use:
For a more reliable result, take the Ovu ovulation test between 10.00 and 20.00 and reduce your fluid intake 2 hours before the test. Depending on the length of your menstrual cycle, determine which day you should start testing
Note: If your cycle is shorter than 21 days or longer than 38 days, please consult your doctor. If you don't know how long your cycle is, you can start testing 11 days after the start of your period, as the average cycle length is 28 days. If you have an irregular cycle, please select the shortest cycle in the last 6 months.
Step 1:
a. Take a clean and dry container and fill it with urine.
b. Remove one of the strips from the package.
c. Dip the strip into the urine container with the arrow pointing down. Do not immerse the strip deeper than the indicated "Mark" (maximum) line. Remove the strip after 5 seconds and place it on a flat, dry and non-absorbent surface (for example: on the edge of the urine container).
d. Wait 5 minutes before reading the result, but not more than 30 minutes.
e. Report the result:
One line in the control zone: negative result - no ovulation. The test line is lighter than the control line: negative result - no ovulation. Two visible lines of the same color: positive result - probability of ovulation in the next 24 to 48 hours. If you want to get pregnant, this is the best time to have intercourse. The test line is darker than the control line: positive result - probability of ovulation in the next 24 to 48 hours. If you want to get pregnant, this is the best time to have intercourse. No line appears: invalid test. Please repeat the test with a new package.
Steps 2-5 : Repeat step 1 for the next 4 days at the same time of day.
